Abstract
This chapter is devoted to an overview of qualitative approaches and their uses in feminist psychology. The first section outlines the conceptual building blocks that are common to qualitative approaches. In the second section, we discuss the practices involved in qualitative research. In the third section, we present four research studies that illustrate the use of qualitative approaches. We are aware that one chapter cannot give enough detail to enable novice readers to carry out their own qualitative studies. Therefore, we have included ample references to methods textbooks in our discussion. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2021 APA, all rights reserved)
